To Gift Or Not To Gift...

morning everyone! your friendly neighborhood PCD is here and i'v got an opinion question of you all.

first let me say that i am an extraordinary gift giver, if i say so myself. i pride myself on taking real time to decided upon gifts that speak to the receiver, reflect their tastes and stand out. my gifts usually have multiple components and i always customize/personalize at least one of them. with that said, this aspect of my gift giving usually gets me in trouble. well, not literally...but trouble in the sense of being upset when people do not even think of me in the most basic of gift giving etiquette.

example...a college "friend" of mine was having a baby. we barely talk (or email) and only got reacquainted when she found out i was having a baby. we do not live in the same state. when it was almost time for the baby to be born, i got an invite to her baby shower. now of course, it was terribly (and shamelessly) a ploy for a gift because everyone knew full well i would not be attending the shower in 2 weeks from this far away. i mean, she's not my bff or anything. so while i started constructing my gift basket for her tike, i stopped dead in my tracks. when i had my baby i didn't get so much as an e-greeting saying congratulations. sure there were emails sent and they said how cute lil PCD was...but that really was just them being nosey wanting to see what she looked like. as i thought about it, i was bothered because people KNOW how much i put into gifts that i give. and i started to get angry. needless to say, i did not send a gift.

my decision bothered me because i actually enjoy giving gifts, especially for babies because i shop at boutiques for one-of-a-kind items a lot. i like to give things no one else will have given at the party (like what happened at my shower, i got 3 of the same thing-bleh!). i love to see that people's faces or hear their reactions. i take a lot of time finding things to comprise the gift so i really like hearing that the receiver likes it. now as of last week, i found out another "friend" just got engaged. she didn't even tell me...i found out on facebook and it was verified by word-of-mouth. now all of the sudden, i get an invite to the bridal shower...again, we are not in the same state, and she's bff's with the other person i just mentioned.

or like my cousin who i mentioned in previous posts...when my baby turned one, you'll never guess what she got her. she got a pair of jeans and a plain white long sleeved shirt. i understand that people's taste vary, but COME ON! but the kicker was that when i went to return it to the store, there was no gift receipt or tags so i had to ask her where it came from. she says target. so why when i went to guest service did they tell me that they only cost $3.30!?!?! TOGETHER!!! both items were on clearance and they cost THREE FRIGGIN DOLLARS???? and of course, for her babys b-day, i got her a basket with learning toys, an ABC caterpillar, a dress, some books, stuffed animals and had balloons tied to the handles

i'm like-WHY!?!? why do people think i'm so dumb? the sweet side of me wants to send something anyway cuz like i said, i love shopping for gifts, especially ones that stand out. but why should i? i'm starting to alter my thinking to the ideal that people should receive gifts from me because they "deserve" it, not just because i like giving them...

i struggle with this because i do not have (active) fair-weather relationships in my life. i just don't function like that. sure, people try to pull me into their fake associations, but i do not treat people like that. if we don't talk on a regular or semi-regualr basis, then don't reach out to me when its your birthday or wedding. i think that's fake. if when i got married and had my baby, you were only there to email your nosey picture requests, then don't send me invites to your crap in hopes of a gift. even someone really close to me is like that with their family...they don't talk unless its a holiday or event like birthday or someone's party. who DOES THAT?

***DO YOU THINK I'M BEING HARSH BY NOT SENDING GIFTS TO THESE LADIES? HAVE YOU EVER BEEN BLATANTLY USED JUST SO YOU CAN GET SOMEONE SOMETHING OR DO SOMETHING FOR THEM? HOW'D YOU REACT? SHARE...***

You Are Officially CUT OFF!!

sooooooooo my good people...have you ever found yourself in the position of cutting someone off? perhaps, excluding someone from your life who was more of a burden than a pleasure? or maybe someone who treats you less than the wonderful way you treat them? i seem to find myself in that position much more often than i would like, but it is what it is.

i guess because the weather is changing, so is life....and its time to take out the trash and cut off the ones who aren't flourishing in the garden of my life (tee hee hee, aren't i snarky?). take a peek into a few of the weeds trying to choke out my splendor...

cousin...one year younger than i, has a daughter same age as mine. i am much more outgoing and outspoken and she struggles socially-A LOT! my issue is, she only calls me when the retarded vagrant of a husband of hers does something her. she always wants me to tell her what to do or woo-saaaaaa her into feeling good again. she's very needy and can never join me in events where she won't get all of my attention. whenever i try to get together with her so the babies can play or just for a socially good time, she almost always cancels....VERDICT: I AM NOT DR. PHIL. I HAVE MY OWN LIFE AND DO HAVE TIME NOR AM I INTERESTED IN BEING INVOLVED IN CONSTANT DRAMA. AND IF YOU STILL SECRETLY LOATHE ME (which she actually told me once), THEN LEAVE ME ALONE AND STOP TRYING TO BORROW PIECES OF MY LIFE BECAUSE YOU DON'T LIKE YOURS!

acquaintance (who i thought was on her way to becoming a friend)...3 years older, son same age as my daughter. we were introduced thru a mutual acquaintance and thought it'd be good to let the kids socialize. soon, we discovered some likenesses and seemingly fed positively off of each other's differences. well, it seems as if this acquaintance has become extremely lop-sided. i am usually the one calling to say hi, schedule play-dates and suggest outings for us and our spouses. first things first, PCD is NO groupie! trust and believe i have plenty to do and i chase no one. so you get all of a few chances to act like you don't want to be bothered before i ax you. in the past 2 weeks, she cancelled at the last minute on TWO occasions. the first was her suggestion, which i rearranged my day to accommodate. the second was the GNO i arranged. as previously stated, when i orchestrate GNOs, they usually require dressing nicely and looking fabulous. i think she has a issue with this, as i've noticed she usually is dressed rather blandly. thats cool...but um, don't lie to me and say you have strep throat 2 hours before we're leaving. i don't believe you....AND she pulled out of an event she invited me and my baby to. if i hadn't remembered the date, it would have totally passed us by...and furthermore, she casually says she's not even going and that her hubby would be there. um, do i kick it with your hubby? did he invite me? HOW RUDE!! sooooooooo, VERDICT: I AM PCD. I AM NOT IN THE BUSINESS OF CHASING GROWN FOLKS OR BEING THE ALWAYS-AVAILABLE-ANNIE WHEN YOU WANT, BUT WHEN THE TABLES ARE TURNED, YOU HAVE AN ATTITUDE, YOU ARE SICK, YOUR EYE FELL OUT, YOUR DOG DROVE OFF WITH YOUR CAR OR WHATEVER. BE CONSIDERATE AND TREAT PEOPLE HOW YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED. TOO BAD IT WON'T BE WITH ME.

so as you can see, PCD is not the one to try and mess over. i hate even having to deal with this because it truly pains me...but at the same time, i am not a doormat. and people will go as faaaaaaaaaaaaaaar as you let them. and the buck stops here...

Roomies That Made Me Gloomy

the other day, i was thinking about some of the roommates i've had in the past. some were quite colorful...others were "regular" people. but its those wacky ones that really took the cake...

first there was *kayla.
she was a church girl who i'd known for seven years. she did not drink, do any drugs or have premarital sex. she went to church every sunday, prayed and read her bible daily and did not say curse words. kayla was great...except she kept the house filthy.
at first, she would stare at my bed decor and decorative do-dads in awe. i thought that was weird because we were young and i didn't have anything extravagant, but she thought everything i had/did was so fancy or beautiful. well, i figured out why when on the way to the bathroom one morning, i must have squashed about 20 cocoa puffs into the carpet. i was livid! i don't even eat cereal...but to have little crumbs all smushed into the floor was unacceptable. then i got to the sink and it was covered in hair and makeup debris. i couldn't even use it because i am weird like that. if someone else's hair or nail fragments are visibly strewn about, i will be overcome with the willies. kayla would leave all kinds of trash around, make-up plopped everywhere, and she shed like a friggin' puppy! all was lost when she began setting her alarm to blast the church music at an ungodly hour and would leave it on while she showered...all while i was asleep, or trying to be. needless to say, we didn't make it to year 2. one year was enough.

next there was *carrie and *sherrie. they were sisters i had been acquainted with for some years. carrie was my age and sherrie was 2 years older. the sisters were seemingly pleasant and clean so i thought all would be good. but after a few discussions about living together, carrie wanted to invite *gilda to live there as well. i didn't have a good feeling about gilda because i didn't know her and when i saw her, i was even more concerned. she was very odd looking and acting. she kinda looked like a malnourished vulture with dark, sunken in eyes and stringy hair.
she was very stand-offish but i was like whatev. i figured that since i was so busy, it wouldn't matter. immediately problems began. carrie started acting strangely and wouldn't speak to me. gilda never was nice. she would roll her eyes at me, walk right by and not speak and slam doors if i had friends over. all was lost when i had a gathering of sorts around thanksgiving. no one was there except me so i figured that it would be ok to have a few people over. we were having a great time and gilda walked in. she was there for all of five muntes and walked back out. 2 minutes later, there was a knock on the door. that hussy called the authorities on me! thankfully, my fabulousness won them over and there were no citations given, but i was irate. well, as soon as the police left, she walked back in and almost sprinted to her room locking the door. well, i sprinted after her giving her a piece of my mind. i kicked her door and told her that when i did see her, i was going to go upside that vulture-y face of hers so she'd better leave. well, she hid in there for hours and wouldn't come out so we all left. days later, gilda moved out.

we needed another roomie so we let this chick named *vickie take vulture's room. vickie was so sweet. she was from a small town and she was a fresh bumpkin off of the turnip truck. she was excited to be in a "real" city and she was a year younger than me and carrie. all was well for the first few weeks. then vickie started getting into the swing of things. she invited a lot of guys over. A LOT!
and i noticed a trend...they were all friends. sometimes, there would be two guy friends in her room with her. sometimes i would wake up and be walking around in my panties, only to have a mini-heart attack because some random dude would pop out of her room. needless to say, she was becoming a whore and what was worse, was that our address was associated with her whoredom. someone came to me one day and told me that our address was mentioned in the same breath as some freaky mentionings. i was disgusted. i told vikcie that she had to remove the fire from her tail or find somewhere else to live. we went back and forth and she hated me after that. she wouldn't speak to me and she met her callers elsewhere.

carrie became even more estranged and when the year was up, her sister explained to me that carrie hated me because of my hair. go figure! i thought she was mad because she sensed the tension between me and her friend the vulture....but just like a chick, she was an undercover hater. she was one of those color-struck chicks caught up in old school race issues. i laughed all over the place when sherrie told me that, then wished her well. that was the end of that.

The Pretty Spotlight: The Ipod Touch

dear ipod touch, i'm in love with you.

now i'm no techy, but this is such a fabulous accessory that i really had to post about it today. hubby got me the Ipod Touch and i have been enamored with it for a number of reasons. the touch screen is so easy to work (even the type pad) and the format for everything is so highly organized, that it has become my new personal assistant. for men and their big hands, i must say that the type pad is a little slim, but after a little while, anyone could get the hang of it. (i did watch a man in the store type away with no hassle but he had 3 weeks of working it). i love how you can scroll thru your music by album cover. the calendar is well organized with various views that are super swell and of course...it looks so cool!

i highly recommend this to anyone who needs some organizational help and a place for their music. you'll be surprised how you'll use all of the other functions like navigation, youtube, weather and all. oh, and don't be sassy like me and think you can be lazy and purchase a stylus for touching buttons because that does not work-lol! and of course, i had to dress mine in a snazzy pink leather cover. TOO CUTE!!

What's In A Pedicure?

ok, so someone i know has stopped going to get pedicures. the reason: "i don't like when they start speaking in their language...i feel like they're talking about me."

ok. i guess that's a valid point...except you don't know WHAT they're saying. so i asked, what is the solution? she says...going to an american place. ok, well i just have to say....while i don't believe that an american would sit there and say something negative about your feet while you are in the chair, could they not wait until you left to do the same thing? she says yes, but the difference is she wouldn't know it or hear it.

er, i'm confused again. you don't know what the korean woman is saying either. its just an assumption that she's saying something about you. and call me crazy, but there are cazillion nail shops that are run by koreans because this is one of their things. they do nails. they've probably seen every kind of foot, crust, corn, bunion, mangly-ness, burnt-osity, discolored, knotted foolishness that some people call feet...so they (in my mind) are more immune to it. i would feel (if i were my friend) more nervous about the americans because how many nail shops do you see run by them unless it' in a spa? not very many. so i would think they've ran across a lot less foot scenarios that would render a sniggle or comment necessary. i was really puzzled because i couldn't believe that she would stop indulging in one of her favorite me-time moments out of unconfirmed fear of foreign whispers.

then i felt bad. i guess i don't understand that type of insecurity so it made no sense to me. and her feet aren't even fugly...she just wears a larger size shoe. tell me, was i mean for trying to set her feelings about the situation aside and get her back in the toe game?

***DO YOU EVER FEEL SHY ABOUT YOURSELF OR ONE OF YOUR FEATURES WHEN IT'S TIME TO HAVE A STRANGER ADJUST IT FOR YOU...WHETHER IT'S NAILS, HAIR, A DOCTOR? I CAN SAY THAT I FEEL AWKWARD (NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES MY AESTHETICIAN DONE IT) ABOUT BRAZILIAN WAX TIME...NO MATTER HOW YOUR ORIGINAL SITUATION LOOKS, IT WILL ALWAYS BE WEIRD TO HAVE SOMEONE PUSHING, SHOVING AND SHIFTING YOUR COOTER AROUND WHILE RIPPING THE HOLY HOT DOG WATER LOVING FOLLICLES STRAIGHT FROM THE ROOT *ouch!* BUT WHAT I REALLY WONDER ABOUT IS HOW THEY CAN DO IT TO A BUNCH OF RANDOM PEOPLE CUZ WE ALL KNOW EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT...WHAT IF THEY RUN INTO A REALLY BAD VAJAYJAY? I JUST KNOW I COULDN'T DO IT...NOR COULD I TOUCH PEOPLE'S FEET (ok, that part was so off-topic, lol!)***

Tickling Your Fancy...With Friends

bonjour, mes amis! i hope everyone had a great mother's day/week/weekend!

its the time of year when we peel off the hats, scarves and boots...and slide into some sandals, flirty dresses and linen. and i, personally can't wait to go on my next GNO (girls night out). we typically like to go overboard with the fashion, and fabulosity....meaning we love to enjoy places that have great food, great ambiance and great people posing about. we never do anything casual on a GNO. we always decide to go somewhere flashy where dressing up is required. there's just something about putting on a slinky dress, fab heels with a perfect face and hair. LOVES IT!!!!!!!

well, in a few days, we'll be venurting off to do our thing...but tell me,

Thankfulness

yesterday, someone asked me to tell the story about one of my six facts that i listed on my tagging exercise. it was the fact about my pregnancy...in which i said it was not confirmed that i was even pregnant until i was four months along. sounds weird, right? well, it's definitely a wild story...

PCD found out there was a little PCD in the oven on a thursday morning in early april. after many moments of disbelief, tears and jubilation mixed with fear, me and hubby started making plans to welcome whoever was in there. well, four days later, i started experiencing some difficulties. (in an effort not to startle anyone, i will spare the details). after a trip to the emergency room, i was told i was in the process of miscarrying. of course, i was devastated! and that night was horrible for me. after a few days, i decided that i should perhaps go to a new doctor to explore some new birth control options because i could not fathom the thought of experiencing that again. i went, he tested me and concluded that i was indeed done miscarrying, no longer pregnant and gave me my prescription. due to my worries, i did not fill it right away. i honestly wanted nothing to do with babies, baby prevention, baby production...so the prescription sat. in the meantime, i became very sad. i slept about 13-14 hours a day, every day. i ate one meal per day. it was usually mixed fruit. the idea and smell of food disgusted me. i lost 15 pounds and was ridiculously thin. by the end of may, i started experiencing some more difficulties in the reproductive area. so i made an appointment to go to the doctor. something told me to call the doctors at the hospital that i had visited a few months before.

they were full and since i was a new patient, i could not be seen for 3 weeks. by this time, my stomach had begun to protrude. it looked as if i had swallowed a basketball. i had convinced myself it was a tumor. how else could you explain the weight loss with no desire to eat, the fatigue, and the swelling of my stomach? well, i went in and told the doctor all of the happenings along with my theory of a tumor. she looked at me crazily. she asked me to take a pregnancy test and i complied. she came back in and told me it was positive. i dismissed her as saying that it must have been leftover hormones from my previous miscarriage. she chuckled and asked to listen to my stomach.

"that's a heartbeat!" she said. "WHOSE?" i asked. "not yours, its too fast." she replied. "YOU'RE PREGNANT!!! and by the look of your stomach, you're far along, so i need you to go here...here..here and here." i sat in a fit of hysterical laughter! i could not believe it! then i entered a state of panic. far along? enough to be visibly showing? i was worried because i had not taken any prenatal vitamins, i had an occassional glass of wine, i lifted heavy things, i lost a lot of weight and only ate fruit....then i crashed. how could this be?

after visiting all of the different departments, they concluded that i was four months along, completely missing my whole first trimester, which is the most important one! the baby, however 'looked' to be fine. i just had to have blood tests to conclude that. after all of the whirlwind, the doctor asked me more questions about why i thought the way i did and she went to the other wing of the hospital and got the report from the night i was told i miscarried. she discovered that while i did indeed miscarry, i was also still pregnant. originally, there were TWO BABIES! no one bothered to inform me...that was proven by the discharge papers i received that night.

you KNOW i was trying to sue the pants off of that place...but i had to wait to see if their negligence caused anything to be wrong with my baby. long story short, nothing was ever wrong with her so i had no case. but i must say that her birth has been one of the most amazing occurrences in my life. not only because she's just as fab as her momma PCD *wink* but also because of the crazy ride of my pregnancy. i missed the first 4 months, contracted gestational diabetes, AND had to lay on bedrest from august to november (UGH!) the point is that regardless to the insanity that is my story, my baby is beautiful, has NOTHING wrong with her and is extremely intelligent and personable. i could not be more thankful. only the Creator could have protected her and kept her thru all of that mess. and it could have gone soooooooooooo many ways, but it didn't and now i have this angel.

NAME A TIME WHERE YOU HAVE BEEN THANKFUL, WHEN THINGS WERE REALLY OUT OF YOUR CONTROL...AND NOT THE RAPPERS SPEECH LIKE "I'M THANKFUL FOR MY MOM OR FOR MY LIFE" we all are *snicker* BUT SHARE YOUR BRIEF STORY OF THANKFULNESS

The Pretty Spotlight: The Art of Forgiveness

sooooooooooooo, where is the end of the line for forgiveness? is there an "end of the line"?

example: girl is obese. girl has no friends except for me. boys laugh at girl. girl grows up and yearns for attention and love. girl meets boy at pizza hut. girl fall for this boy, the first to show any real interest in her (i have my own theory as to why). boy proposes in 4 months. girl and boy get married. girl has baby. boy is surprised at the concept of reponsibility. (see, boy's mother was a crackhead who lived in a house that is currently being condemned. they grew up with very little. boy never had a real job until girl got it for him when they started dating. boy never had to pay bills. boy had never even been to red lobster...ever...in life. it was almost as if boy was from mars for real. and personally, i think boy is mildly retarded). boy does not like buying things for baby, only for himself. girl gets laid off. girl collects unemployment. girl gets sick. girl gets disability. boy will only pay exactly half of every bill from his separate bank account. if girl needs something and he buys it, he makes her pay him back. boy has a niiiiiiice stash of cash. girl does not because she supports baby and pays her "half" with her disability/unemployment money. boy is trying to save a total of $18K for his own personal use. girl now has gone back to school just to collect a check so she can continue to pay her half. boy resents her becasue (a) she's technically bettering herself and (b) he has to watch their kid for 3.5 hours and does not like it.

is this too much? this is actually only a snippet. (there's more, like his mom asking to live with them in exchange for food stamps...or his mom sticking him with a $6K bill from when she used his SSN to get governmental benefits...or the fact that he lies to keep working from home, which began because girl was medically having some issues, but he is selfish with is time and MUST have a nap every day undisturbed...so they spend 24/7 together, with the baby-LITERALLY!)

but i wonder, is she supposed to endure this for the sake of her family and her marital commitment? i personally do not understand the concept of having separate everything and splitting everything evenly....that's like living as roommates. and if that's the case, why be married? i do not understand loaning your wife money to buy diapers. but she endures and forgives him for 2 reasons....(a) she's scared he'll leave and (b) she feels she is obligated to take it because she married him and these are the consequences of that choice and to the commitment she made before God. is this what we are expected to do as imperfect beings? i try not to judge others situations, because NO ONE can understand someone's else's true perspective...but i do feel like there are some times when i can identify/empathize and i vehemently disagree with some choices being made.

i'm not saying i feel she should leave right now...but if it were me, i'd DEFINITELY put my foot down about some things. even if it put me at risk for him to leave me. if he chose to do so, then that'd be on him. but i find it extremely hard to look at, be around, respect or even ACT like i respect someone who would treat me like this.
i do believe that we should forgive others. i do believe in the concept of reeping what you sow. i do believe that we should lead by example if someone is choosing to be wreckless or irresponsible. i do believe in family. i do not believe in this situation tho. at least not the way it is now.

***WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS SITUATION? WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON FORGIVENESS? IS THERE A LINE THAT YOU HAVE WHERE IF CROSSED, THERE IS NO FORGIVENESS FOR? IS THERE SOMEONE WHO DID SOMETHING TO YOU AND HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM YOUR LIFE/INNERCIRCLE? WHAT WAS THE ACT?****

Open Mouth, Insert Foot

yesterday, i was at one of my mommy meetings and a mom was there that i never met. we introduced ourselves and started chatting it up. she went on about the struggles she's having with her daughter sleeping at night. so i said, "you just have the one daughter right?"

she looked at me like i was insane and said, "i'm pregnant! due in september! HMPH!" i was so caught off guard that i said very loudly, "oh, OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH!?!?!?! you're pregnant?"

ok, so here's the full scenario. she was a very large woman. so much so that i just assumed that the flabby mid-section she was sporting was attributed to partaking of 10 too many brownies every night. not to mention that if she is due in september, then she's only about 4 months pregnant, which is not THAT big anyways. but i was genuinely shocked, so my outburst totally translated that...it was like "oh, there's a baby in there? not just fat?" ok, hello, my name is............

i TRULY didn't mean to react so abruptly, especially since i try to be mindful of my manners at all times. i really felt bad afterward because i'm sure she picked up on my tone...but i was surprised because of how she looked at me and declared her spermination so fervently, so it just slipped out.

Jimmy Crack Corn & I DO Care

i LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the spring. actually i love the fall, but i enjoy the temperate season of spring before it becomes ridiculously hot too. and around this time, the birds begin singing, flowers fragrance the air and the sun shines brightly...letting me and others know it's safe to bring out......sandals & flip-flops. but i must know, what are your thoughts about feet on display?

(i blew up the pic so it may appear a little blurry, but in case you can't see, there are 4 corns on each foot, one on the second toe, two on the middle, and one on the fourth on BOTH feet. and while her corns aren't burnt or discolored, they are very visible and crunchy looking, AND holding onto dear life over the edge of that shoe!)

i came across this picture on ybf and i couldn't believe my eyes! i know some people just have some messed up feet. some pople can't help it. some may have been dancers. some may not have been able to afford shoes that fit properly. some are just trifling. but whatever the reason, i cannot understand the need to expose the public to raggedy feet. and what bothered me about this picture is this....

she's so beautiful. this is singer keri hilson and i cannot believe that the corn display was actually cool with her. i am not discriminatory about feet. like i said, some people just have odd looking feet, but why primp them up in beautiful louboutin heels with a fabulous dress and cameras flashing? now, some people are obsessed with feet and i find that weird, but i ask, does it bother you to see some less-than-sightly feet paraded around? do you think she should have just picked a different shoe....or continued on with a french pedicure like nothing's even crackled/distorted/corntastic in the toe region? does her cuteness and the pedicure distract from the corn convention? personally, i vote for a different shoe....complete with corn pads dissolving those suckers so that they could be displayed at a later date without burning a hole in my retina...

What Is Attractive To You?

remember my friend that i told you about? the one who meets people on line? well, she has taken up with a new person. what strikes me as even more odd is that almost every person is sooooooo drastically different from the last. i'm wondering, what exactly is she looking for?

i told you about the legless felon, the preacher from myspace and now it's a medical rep with 2 kids. legless was a skinny thug. he worked in the sprint store. he lost his leg escaping from police. he was very rough around the edges, wore hip-hop clothes and had a lot of family baggage. preacher was *cough* a preacher, but she never found out what his 9-5 is because he does not pastor a church. she doesn't know much of him, but she found him attractive. he wears suits, polo shirts and khakis. he's dark-skinned, well groomed, low haircut, and no kids. medical rep is light skinned. he's suuuuuuuuuper light skinned actually. he has 2 children and dreadlocks.

beside the fact that i feel they all have some serious character issues, they are all so different. physically and with their places in life. i was so confused that i had to ask, what are you actually attracted to? do you just want a guy, any guy? because you don't seem to have a "type." you are like an equal opportunity dater-lol. (she didn't like that) but i am confused. i really am curious about what she is attracted to in a guy? physically and otherwise. some chicks like upstanding guys with a 9-5, no kids, clean cut. some like thugs, no real career, might have kids, rough-and-stuff. some like a mixture, some like dark, some light, some low hair, some long hair, some ambitious and driven, some blowing in the wind with no real goals-hustler type......i have no idea what she likes. (i'm starting to think it's whatever with a twig & berries-lol)

BUT WHAT DO YOU LIKE? WHAT IS ATTRACTIVE TO YOU IN THE OPPOSITE SEX...PHYSICAL AND OTHERWISE?
